Returns

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your product, we offer no-hassle returns. This only applies to products purchased directly from Rayovac Solar.
Our products can be returned for free within 30 days of delivery for a replacement, exchange, or refund.

If you receive your product and aren’t 100% happy with it, you can send it back to us for a refund.

Our return policy covers returns of products in new or “like-new” condition up to 30 days after delivery, excluding any products listed as nonrefundable at the time of purchase. Product(s) must be returned with its original, undamaged packaging.
For Returns for Rayovac Solar Power Stations containing lithium batteries:
Warranty issues and returns for Portable Power Stations containing lithium batteries will be handled through our Customer Service team.

LIMITED WARRANTY

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. CONSUMERS IN AUSTRALIA AND QUEBEC, CANADA, HAVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

RAYOVAC SOLAR LLC ("RAYOVAC SOLAR") warrants to the original consumer purchaser that this RAYOVAC SOLAR product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal consumer use during the applicable warranty period identified, below, subject to the exclusions set forth, below. The foregoing provisions state RAYOVAC SOLAR'S entire liability, and your exclusive remedy, for any breach of warranty, express or implied. RAYOVAC SOLAR will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for it, any other liability in connection with the sales of RAYOVAC SOLAR products.

WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty period for all RAYOVAC SOLAR products commences as of the date of purchase by the original consumer.

The warranty period for:

RAYOVAC SOLAR Trek 600, Journey 1000, Oddessey 200, Sun Snare 100, and Sun Snare 200 is 18 months.

REMEDY

RAYOVAC SOLAR will, at its option, (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. A replacement product/part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property, and the replaced item becomes RAYOVAC SOLAR'S property.

LIMITED TO ORIGINAL CONSUMER BUYER

This warranty is not transferable to any subsequent owner of a RAYOVAC SOLAR'S product.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for RAYOVAC SOLAR'S that can be identified by the "RAYOVAC SOLAR'S" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-RAYOVAC SOLAR'S products, even if packaged or sold with RAYOVAC SOLAR products. Non-RAYOVAC SOLAR manufacturers or suppliers may provide their own warranties.

This warranty does not cover: (i) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, use in contradiction to written warnings or instructions, or the combination of RAYOVAC SOLAR products with non-RAYOVAC SOLAR products; (ii) damage caused by service performed by anyone other than RAYOVAC SOLAR or its authorized designee; (iii) a product or a part that has been modified or disassembled without the written permission of RAYOVAC SOLAR; (iv) a product where any RAYOVAC SOLAR serial number has been removed or defaced, (v) any product purchased through an online auction house, or stolen or otherwise illegally misappropriated good.

This limited warranty does not apply to any battery or product containing a battery unless the battery cell has been fully charged by you within seven (7) days after your purchase of the product and at least once every 6 months thereafter.
Batteries are wearable goods and some degradation of the battery is normal over time and according to use. This warranty does not guarantee that your battery will function at full capacity for the entire Warranty Period but that it will function at a reasonable capacity given the natural degradation of the battery at a rate consistent with the battery chemistry, the use of the battery, the environment the battery was used in and the cycle count of the battery.

THIS WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RAYOVAC SOLAR SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF RAYOVAC SOLAR CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. NOTHING IN THIS DISCLAIMER LIMITS OR EXCLUDES ANY GUARANTEES, WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR CONDITIONS IMPLIED OR IMPOSED BY LAW, INCLUDING THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW AND VARIOUS CONSUMER LAWS OF QUEBEC, CANADA (OR ANY LIABILITY UNDER THEM) WHICH BY LAW MAY NOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED.

NO RAYOVAC SOLAR RESELLER, AGENT, OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY.

IN NO EVENT WILL RAYOVAC SOLAR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY USE OR MALFUNCTION OF ANY RA PRODUCT OR FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO OTHER DEVICES. IN NO EVENT WILL RAYOVAC SOLAR'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT LIABILITY), OR UNDER ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE RAYOVAC SOLAR PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

To obtain warranty service, you must contact our customer service team via email at support@rayovacsolar.com. If you purchased a product in a country that our customer service team does not service, they will refer you to the local distributor in your country for warranty processing. A sales receipt from the original consumer purchase or other reasonable documentary proof, as well as proof of professional installation (for products that require professional installation, as called out in product literature), is required. The documentation showing the date of the actual transaction will establish the beginning of the warranty period. If you completed the online RAYOVAC SOLAR Product Registration Form within thirty (30) days after purchasing your product, that registration can also establish the start date of the warranty period (but warranty coverage is not conditioned upon such registration).

If our customer service team authorizes your warranty claim, they will give you a Return Material Authorization ("RMA") number. You must properly package the product in its original packaging or such packaging as may be designated or approved by RAYOVAC SOLAR, clearly marking the RMA number on the package and including proof of your purchase date with the product. You must then send the product by mail or courier, with shipping costs paid by you, to RAYOVAC SOLAR at 4950 S Sante Fe Ave. Vernon, CA 90058. We will process your return and send you your repaired or replacement product at our expense.
